So I've had Adobe Flash CS6 for a few months now! I've wanted Adobe Flash to animate for YONKS! And I mean yonks. However, I haven't done a ton of animations since I got it. I've tried out some walk cycles which haven't turned out too great. But I do have two facial animations, one is a lip sync practice. I'm pretty pround of both and I hope to improve as I practise more!
Ok, haven't got much done with art on my tablet recently, I just haven't done much recently. I'm working on an Overwatch illustration at the moment. It has some poses in it that I'm not used to, so I'm taking my time and trying to get it right!
Hopefully I'll get some stuff done in the holidays!
It's 2016, and I'm hoping this will a good year for my art on Newgrounds. What with me getting Manga Studio and the new way of colouring and shading as well as other tools to mess around with, I feel I will improve upon my artistic skills in this coming year ( even though that probably might of happened anyway as, you know, I draw a lot!).
Here's to a great year!
Ok so I got Manga Studio 5 for Christmas (yay!). This is really cool as, primarily, I got awesome tools for colour mixing and stuff and it'll help me make my comic I'm hoping to do (maybe).
In other news, I'm working on an illustration in Manga Studio, should be done soon-ish if I dedicate the time. It is Star Wars because I saw episode VII last Tuesday and it was awesome!
Hoping to post that soon, so see ya!
So I've managed to get myself SketchBook Pro, which is great. This will hopefully open up some new stuff for me to try out. Just got to experiment a bit to see what's what. I got a plan for my next piece, so that's good.
If anyone is wondering about the lack of recent art, I'm working on one right now. Only got to linework, but it shouldn't be too long before I finish. I want to get it looking really neat, as some of my older submissions are a bit scrappy. I also would like to take the time to get the colouring right.
EDIT: God, this is taking some time to finish (mind you, I am back at school, so am quite short of time).
So I'm back to drawing now, and I am going to be working on perspective, mainly of weapons, and shading and highlights. I've not used my tablet for a while, so I need to get back into the swing of things. Here's a picture of some sketches I've been working on today, just some quick poses (and they suck).
So I started drawing the actual comic yesterday, and today I have completed the first page. It's proving to be a bit of a long process, but I'll get there. There's some stupid URL thing stopping me from posting the image with this, and I don't want to work out how to do it now. So I'm setting up a topic in the art forum of NewGrounds called "feedback on first page of comic", so go check it out there and give me some feedback, it would be appreciated.
Ok. So if anyone cares, I've started planning the first volume of a series of comics called "The Adventures of Titan". It's a medieval fantasy series set in the land of Hallowsgate, following the adventures of the warrior Titan, and his quest to stop Zythanda, the evil lord of Mindole. It's something I came up with a long time ago in year 4, but never really developed it until now. I may uploaded my progress as I go along.
Ok, so been looking round Newgrounds and have realised I need to improve the quality of my work. I also want to ask: What programs do people use. I use Sketchbook Express 6.2, as it came with my tablet, but I feel it does't offer a great range of tools and stuff. Also, you can only have 5 layers and a background layer, which kind of sucks, as I need more layers. I especially needed more for my Morrowind piece. The programs good, but I feel I need more.
